Getting Better at NL100 and Beaing raped at NL200

The first part of May has been at least very weird. I am getting excellent results at NL100 but I've failed two times moving up to NL200. My moving up strategy was based primary in playing as much as i can at NL200 and moving down if i lost 3BI. After two failed attempts I have kept playing NL100 hoping to moving up soon and never go back. Even i was very unlucky at NL200 i realized that i was playing scared of money so i've changed my basic strategy from 3BI to 6BI.

Let's talk about NL100 results.

Before talking about the graph above. I'd like to introduce my new poker stats ofr NL100 :P...
TAG style: 19/16/4.6
ATS: 29
WTS=25%
WSD=56%
WonWSF= 38%

Let's compare these stats with my last month's stats:

There are some important stuffs you can deduct from the PokerEV graph:

- I am running hot ( you dont need to remind me that)
-The total winnings line (TWL) is considerably lower than the Showdown winnings line (SWL). Well even i am far away from getting the SWL over the TWL from the Poker EV graph can be deducted that the major difference of these lines can be explained from 1,2K hands equivalent to one session - one monkey tilt session . So why did lose so much of what i'll call 'No showdown value' (NSV) on that session?

April

Hugh Variance = Nice month for NL100 ¡¡¡

Do I really love this?

I have definitely improved my game this month since the difference between the green line (actual winnings) and the red line (sklasky bucks) has decreased compared to my past history. The most important changes I’ve done are mainly related with double barreling more frequently, raising a lot more on the button, folding a lot against turn aggression, and being aware of timing tells and patterns.

Even thought all I said above there are a lot of leaks that keep punishing my win rate. I'd like to settle here both my improvements and my detected leaks in order to find a guide to keep and I hope to get a larger income. To do this I'll be using the information provided by PT and PokerEV. Let’s review my poker stats a little bit :P

on April I played a very
TAG style: 17/14/4
ATS = 27%
WTS=24%
WSD=54%
WonWSF= 38%

- The most important improvement I think I made is the change at my attempt to steal (ATS) rate. My ATS increased from 22% on March to 27% on April. This means that I’ve opened my game lot. BUT it is far away from the 30% that at least I should have to become a very tough
poker player.

- The second more important adjustment in my game was the increase of the second barrel
frequency. I really put pressure on my opponents when they decided to play OOP
against me. The main goal this month was not let them checking and calling with
second/bottom/under pair and A high on a profitable way.

- The third stuff is related w/ online tells: I've realized that if I really want to take other players to value town or make profitable calls you need to takes notes of everything. Is X check raising w TPGK or just calling and reevaluating on later streets?, how this particular player reacts to aggression? Does he slow play or he just jam the flop w strong hands?. If you don't have notes to help yourself in these situations you must be aware of timing tells which can give you the opportunity to become firing 2 or 3 barrels in a +EV line.

Finally using PokerEV I detected that my raise/bluff frequency in 3bet pots is not giving me good results. Every time I’ve check raised the flop after calling a 3bet oop with Axs or suited connectors type hands I’ve been raped. Of course I’ve made this because I’ve felt that my opponent is 3betting me lightly but since I have not got good results doing this I’ll change to a 4bet bluff line.

Any comment is appreciated...

Poker EV:
